Resolve Mediation and Counseling is committed to the personal and professional development of youth residing in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. Our Coaching services are also available nationwide.

The services provided promote positive self-reflection in adolescent and young adults. Resolve intends to build the mental, physical, emotional, and professional aspect of young people in an effort to decrease and eliminate counterproductive thoughts and actions.

Through acknowledgement of self-worth and confidence, a sense of purpose will be created. Resolve creates an enthusiastic environment that encourages and cultivates the individual gifts that are imperative for both personal and professional success. Through engagement and productivity, feelings of hopelessness, loneliness, low self-esteem, confusion, and boredom can be reduced within a safe haven of trust. A totality approach is utilized to develop and cultivate healthy, productive, contributors to our communities.

Resolve shares a passion for inspiring others to be the best they can be with the gifts already planted within. Although our services target pre-teen to young adults, we believe that an individual's future can be correlated, in some degree, with their foundation. Whether one uses their foundation as an example of positivity or an example of negativity, the teachings we receive throughout life will inevitably shape our thoughts, and therefore, our actions.

If our young people believe they have a purposeful future, they are less likely to engage in reckless behavior.

Once an individual identifies a goal, they can then begin to focus their energy on pursuing and accomplishing this goal. Creating paths to their intended careers, young people begin to see that there is a way and there are no limitations to what perseverance and planning can offer you. Improving leadership skills will offset the stereotypical desire to fit in with peers and perhaps even begin a more positive movement amongst themselves.

Not only does Resolve inspire personal development, but also civic duty and community awareness. One young person at a time will grow into a new value system of positivity, service, and well-being. Our future begins in the present.
